About Me

Sanajit Patra is a Ph.D. researcher in the Department of Mathematics at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT KGP), working under the supervision of Prof. Ratna Dutta. His research lies in public key cryptography, with a focus on advanced cryptographic paradigms such as functional encryption, anamorphic encryption, lattice-based cryptography, and code-based cryptography. His work aims to develop secure, efficient, and post-quantum resilient cryptographic constructions suitable for emerging applications in modern distributed and data-driven systems. He obtained his B.Sc. in Mathematics (Honours) from Midnapore College (Autonomous) and his M.Sc. in Pure Mathematics from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute (RKMVERI). His academic training in algebra, number theory, and theoretical computer science forms the foundation of his research in next-generation cryptographic systems.
